Day two of China Sourcing Fair introduces more buyers to buy direct from new suppliers

After a successful first day, exhibitors at the China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components, received a further boost with buyers returning on day two to finalize orders being joined by an influx of new customers.
The fair runs until April 18 and features more than 1,700 booths of the hottest electronics products on the market today — from consumer electronics to electronic components and power supplies. These are supplemented by a large number of exhibitors displaying telecom, security, digital imaging, in-car and computer and networking products.
"The results have been fabulous," commented Global Sources Exhibitions general manager, Chuck Armitage. "All halls are very busy. Buyers are finding an exciting array of new suppliers; more than 95 percent of them are exhibiting in Hong Kong for the first time," he said.
Exhibitor Jonathan Ng, general manager of Hong Kong based Nedtech International agrees: "The show is better than we expected. We've had a lot of customers come to our booth."
He sees the complementary nature of the show as a big advantage." This fair has a unique positioning. If you're a buyer, you'll see lots of new suppliers from China, not like in the other fairs where you see the same old suppliers."
While capable of supplying volume orders, exhibitors at the China Sourcing Fair are more accommodating to SME buyers according to Ng. "This show means many new opportunities even for buyers who have smaller volume orders. Suppliers in this show are more flexible," he said.
The China Sourcing Fair almost doubles the choice for buyers at the height of the buying season. "I did not know about this show," said Mark Kaufmann of All Star Distributors in New York. "I saw your advertisements... [the show is] well-publicized. I said to myself, 'I have to see this China Sourcing Fair.'"
It was a very pleasant surprise according to Kaufmann: "This is a very, very professionally done show. The products are organized and it is big."
"I came here looking for cameras and accessories, like batteries, chargers and the like. I have already seen some companies that I intend to do business with."
"I am surprised that aside from this trade show you have a bundle of products that include monthly magazines, a website that is updated daily, well-researched China Sourcing Reports. It is midnight in New York but tomorrow, I will ask my people to start their research on your homepages," he concluded.
The China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components runs through April 18 in Hong Kong.
