Take the Airport Express train to get to the China Sourcing Fair
The easiest and fastest way to get to the China Sourcing Fair is to take the convenient Airport Express train. It's only one minute from the airport and 28 minutes from downtown.
When you purchase a stored-value “Octopus” card to travel to the show, you’ll enjoy a discounted fare on your express train ride. The train is fast, quiet, comfortable, clean and nicely air conditioned, making it the primary way visitors can get to-and-from the show venue. Read our detailed explanation.

Airport Express train:The most convenient (and fast) way to get to the Fair is via the Airport Express train. Trains depart every 12 minutes (every 7 minutes during peak hours). Note that the Airport Express railway is connected to Hong Kong's ultra-convenient Mass Transit Rail (MTR), Hong Kong's subway system.
From the Hong Kong Airport: When you exit the Baggage Claim area you will enter the Arrival Hall. There are two well-marked information counters (in the Arrival Hall areas A and B) where you can buy tickets for the train. Then, take the escalators up one level to the Airport Express train arrival/departure platform. To get to the Fair venue AsiaWorld-Expo, it will be about a one minute train ride and cost HK$5 (less than US1). You can also walk to the Fair venue, it is within a few minutes' walking distance from Airport and connected by footpath. See map
From Hong Kong Island: From the Airport Express station in Central district, it takes 28 minutes to the show venue AsiaWorld-Expo next to the Hong Kong Airport. When trade shows are held at AsiaWorld-Expo, discounted train tickets are available for HK$72 (US$9) round trip. Discounted rates are only available when you use an Octopus stored value card and stay at the venue for more than two hours. See map

Taxi:
You can take a taxi directly to the venue. Travel time varies (depending on traffic) between 30-50 minutes. For a taxi from Hong Kong Island, expect to pay around HK$300 (US$45) one way as you will have to pay an additional fee to travel through Hong Kong's cross-harbor tunnel. From Kowloon, expect to pay around HK$250 (US$32) one way.
You can also take a taxi to the nearest Airport Express Station and then take the Airport Express train to the AsiaWorld-Expo.

Private car: The private car park is situated south of AsiaWorld-Expo. It can accommodate about 1,000 private cars. View and print the road network at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Public bus: You can also take a public bus to the Fair venue. Travel time will vary (depending on traffic) but you should plan for about one hour. All Hong Kong buses are modern, clean and air conditioned. To pay the fare, you can use HK dollar coins (exact change) or a stored-value Octopus Card.

Getting around Hong Kong
For travelers who have never visited Hong Kong before, you should know there are three main geographic areas you should be familiar with as they relate to attending the China Sourcing Fair:

Hong Kong Island: Hong Kong Island is the main island where the four, commonly visited districts of Central (business district), Admiralty, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay are located.

Kowloon / Tsim Sha Tsui: The Kowloon peninsula is located across the harbor from Hong Kong Island. The Tsim Sha Tsui (pronounced "Chim Sha Choy") district is famous for shopping on and around Nathan Road. Many international hotels are also located in this area.

It is located on Lantau Island in an area that is quickly becoming a new business, residential and entertainment focal point of Hong Kong. All airport signage is in English, and all airport staff speak English, are courteous and helpful should you have any questions.

Hong Kong's "Octopus" stored-value card
To get around Hong Kong on public transportation, you can use a stored-value card called an "Octopus" card. It's convenient, widely used, and you won't have to find exact change when traveling. Octopus cards are not accepted in taxis, but are used on public buses, on Hong Kong's subway system the Mass Transit Rail (MTR), and on the Airport Express train you can take to and from the China Sourcing Fair and the Hong Kong Airport. Octopus cards are also accepted as currency at 7-Eleven convenience stores, McDonalds restaurants, Starbucks coffee shops, and other selected places of business.
When you purchase an Octopus card, you make a refundable HK$50 (US$6.40) deposit, and pay any additional amount you want stored on the card (for example, you may want to purchase HK$200 (US$25) worth of stored value.
You can purchase Octopus cards in the Arrival Hall at the Hong Kong Airport or at any Mass Transit Rail (MTR) station. You can add additional value to the card at any location that accepts them.
